Creator Economy Ad Spend to Reach $37B

Of the total world population of 7.715 billion, more than half of the people use one or several social media apps or networks.
According to a new report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau, brands are set to pour $37 billion dollars into the creator economy in 2025, growing at a rate nearly 4x faster than the broader media industry.
Nearly half of advertisers now label creators a must buy, ranking only behind social and paid search. Brands are leaning on creators for reach, trust, and increasingly, sales, with forty percent naming ROI as their top KPI.
Brands say the toughest challenge is simply finding the right creators, citing reputation and audience alignment as the most important selection criteria.
Creator investment is accelerating, but to unlock its full potential, brands want stronger measurement, clearer standards, and more transparent tools that tie creator campaigns to actual business outcomes.
Ex-MrBeast Strategist Builds Creator AI

For creators navigating burnout, heavy posting schedules, and algorithm uncertainty, Palo aims to make the process more manageable without replacing instinct.
Former MrBeast strategist Jay Neo is launching a new AI platform designed to help creators generate stronger ideas, understand their analytics, and keep up with the nonstop pressure of short-form content.
Neo joined MrBeast at 18 years old and became fixated on viewer-retention data, eventually helping shape formats that pulled 1.8 billion views across channels. After leaving in 2023, he co-built new channels under the Creaky brand, scaling them to one billion monthly views.
That’s the idea behind Palo, built with former Palantir engineer Shivam Kumar and creator Harry Jones.
So what does Palo do?
Analyzes a creator’s entire short-form library and breaks down hooks, audience sentiment, originality, and search patterns.
It propose new concepts, scripts, or even visual storyboards that match a creator’s own style.
Pricing starts at $250 per month, with access now available to creators with 100k followers.
The company has raised $3.8 million from Peak XV’s Surge, NFX, and multiple angel investors.
Disney Star’s AI App Sparks Backlash
Former Disney Channel star Calum Worthy is facing backlash after unveiling 2wai, an AI app that creates interactive avatars of deceased relatives.
The app went viral after an ad showed an expectant mother speaking with an avatar of her late mom, generated from only three minutes of footage. The clip framed the tech as a way to preserve loved ones, but online reaction was overwhelmingly negative, with users calling it dystopian and comparing it to Black Mirror’s “Be Right Back.”
2wai’s beta lets users create HoloAvatars that move and speak in real time, including digital twins of themselves or avatars of friends and family. The company has raised $5 million and partnered with BT, IBM, and Globe Telecom.
The debate centers on whether AI recreations of the dead offer comfort or cross an ethical line that technology should not.
