Creatorland Featured Tips: How to reach out to brands for partnerships
#1: Reach out to brands that fit the content you’re already creating & that your audience loves
Take a minute to look through your content- which videos have the most engagement? You’ll likely see a niche that your audience loves to hear about from you. Use that niche to determine what brands you should collaborate with.
#2: Keep your outreach personal, to-the-point, and relevant.
Before hitting sending on an email to a brand:
Make it personal: Do some research on the company and recent content they’ve posted or products they’ve launched. Mentioning this in your email shows that you care and have genuine interest in their company.
Keep it short & relevant: You don’t need to include your life story or a portfolio with 20+ videos. Instead, keep your intro quick with key information: follower count, engagement rate, and 1-2 examples of content or brand partnerships you’ve done similar to theirs.
#3: Follow up with personalization
Ditch the “Just following up on this” emails and instead, keep tabs on the brand’s marketing. Send ideas you have for their social campaigns and if you want, create content that mentions them and send it to them to show the engagement you facilitated.
