🧑🏻💻 Creators Hire AI Interns

As of August 2025, there are over 70 AI tools for productivity.
AI isn’t just stealing jobs, it’s getting hired as an intern. Instead of paying a human assistant $53,000 a year, creators are leaning on ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Claude, from fact-checking to cleaning up LinkedIn posts. According to Wondercraft research, more than 80 percent of creators now use AI somewhere in their workflow.
The big draw is cost savings. For $20 a month, ChatGPT Plus can act as your research buddy, copyeditor, and even a social media consultant, jobs that might otherwise cost hundreds of dollars per hour. Some creators are even plugging their best posts into AI tools to figure out when to post and what topics land best. One LinkedIn creator says the move helped her land nearly $20,000 in brand deals in just two months.
The legal world is not safe either. Creators are pasting contracts into AI for quick reviews before signing, sidestepping lawyers who might charge $100 to $750 an hour. Of course, lawyers warn that AI will not catch every nuance or FTC guideline, but for many creators, “good enough” at zero dollars is better than a hefty hourly rate.

💸 OnlyFans Valued at $8 Billion
OnlyFans has gone from a controversial subscription platform to one of the most profitable companies in the creator economy. Its $8 billion valuation in 2025 puts it in rare territory, especially for a business still carrying cultural baggage. With $6.6 billion in 2023 gross revenue and an 80 percent share of paid creator content, OnlyFans has proved it is less a niche play and more a juggernaut of digital monetization.
The Bigger Picture
OnlyFans dominates with more than 80% market share in paid creator content.
Dividend payouts to creators are massive: $472 million in 2023 alone.
A sale or IPO could set precedent for other adult-linked creator platforms.
OnlyFans makes more money and runs leaner than many Silicon Valley startups, but regulatory scrutiny and cultural pushback still keep traditional investors away. Whether it is sold, goes public, or stays private, the platform has already drastically changed how creators monetize their work.

At the first Global Influencer Council, leaders from top brands compared notes on how to scale campaigns without wasting money, losing cultural relevance, or burning out teams. The conversations showed that while the industry is booming, the mechanics of making influencer marketing sustainable are still shaky.
The big picture is that brands want scale, but they lack the resources, measurement systems, and flexibility to keep up with culture in real time. AI has helped, but it cannot yet replace the human component that influencer marketing depends on. As a result, the channel is caught between massive budgets, high expectations, and trial and error.
Why This Matters For Digital Creators
Budgets are growing, which means there is more money on the table for creators who can deliver results.
Measurement gaps show that brands are still experimenting, giving creators space to shape the value conversation.
AI is treated as a helper rather than a replacement, so authenticity matters more than ever.
Cultural timing is critical, and fast-moving creators can outpace big brands slowed by red tape.
Community-driven platforms like Reddit, Twitch, and LinkedIn are opening fresh opportunities beyond the usual Instagram-TikTok loop.
Influencer marketing’s growing pains are good news for creators. The demand for content is higher than ever, but brands cannot scale without real partnerships.
