💰 Meta’s Bold Move to Win Over TikTok Creators

Kudos to Amanda Perelli and the team at Business Insider for uncovering this report on Instagram's aggressive strategy to dominate the short-form video space. Meta is pulling out all the stops to lure TikTok creators, and the numbers are staggering.

Big Money Offers — Up to $300,000 for Exclusive Content

  • Meta is paying creators between $2,500 to $50,000 per month, depending on their tier.

  • One eye-popping contract offers $300,000 over six months if creators meet specific requirements, such as:

    • Posting 10 new Reels per month

    • Ensuring exclusivity to Instagram for three months

    • Engaging with fans daily and sharing two Reels as IG stories monthly

The Challenge of Exclusivity

Despite the jaw-dropping paychecks, not all creators are jumping on board. The stringent requirements, including posting 25% more on Instagram than other platforms, have left some creators feeling frustrated. One manager even described the deal as "untenable."

A Second Offer: $90,000 Over Six Months

A more "modest" package offers creators $15,000 per month to post at least eight exclusive Reels per month over a six-month period.
