• YouTube introduces in-app gaming
  YouTube is introducing "Playables," allowing users to play simple games within the YouTube app on both desktop and mobile devices, aiming to expand its gaming presence beyond just watching content. The initiative, initially tested with a limited number of users, seeks to leverage the platform's existing gaming community and potentially increase engagement and revenue through sponsorships, ad placements, and add-ons.

• ANOTHER Twitter update…you won’t guess it.
  Twitch's Discovery feed, likened to TikTok's For You Page, will be launched this month, aiming to offer users a more diverse range of content including short-form videos and streams. This move reflects Twitch's ongoing efforts to modernize its platform and enhance user experience, aligning with CEO Dan Clancy's vision for a more immersive viewing experience.

• Meta’s fight with Chat GBT starts now
  Meta is intensifying its competition with ChatGPT by integrating its AI assistant into Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook, while introducing Llama 3, its latest AI model aimed at outperforming competitors in tasks like coding. Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg aims for Meta AI to become the most intelligent assistant globally, as the company expands its reach and invests in foundational AI models to compete on a broader scale.

• TikTok aims to create photo & text feeds with new app.
  TikTok is testing its Instagram rival, TikTok Notes, in Canada and Australia, providing a dedicated space for photo and text content . The app, available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, aims to create a platform for users to share moments through photo posts and compete with Meta's Instagram and Threads.

• The TikTok Ban wasn’t fake.
  The TikTok Ban is happening, with a bill set for consideration on Tuesday, offering the platform a year to divest. It’s time for creators to get savvy and start transitioning to other platforms like YouTube and Meta.
