Creatorland Platform Updates

600+ Creators & Professionals were given access to the platform!
We are beyond excited to announce that last week we gave 600+ Creatorland early-access members access to their profiles for the first time.

We’ve been SUPER impressed with many of these profiles!

Check out these awesome creators: Brozrdz, stylebymalvika, cheddararchez, therockstarcat, & alexmills.

And these awesome professionals from the creator economy: erickbrownstein, briandunbar, & notluke.

It’s been amazing to see creators from all parts of the creator economy and their professional counterparts like agency owners, researchers, and creator economy founders leaning into Creatorland and taking their first steps to building a portfolio of their past work.

Here’s a snapshot of what a project can look like. We suggest clicking on one of the profiles above and navigating to “portfolio” to see what people are building.

What’s next for Creatorland

At the beginning of June we rolled out an overhaul of projects. This week we introduced our connections feature and syncing your Google contacts to find people you know on Creatorland and in the creator economy.

Next week comes unlimited direct messaging between connections, more early access users being granted access and lots of enhancements and tweaks, so stay tuned Creatorland friends!

#1: Partner With Brands That You Align With
Influencer marketing is most effective when it’s authentic. To get the best results for the brands that you work with, you need to be creating content and taking partnerships that you’re passionate about.

#2: Know Your Deliverables & Exceed Them
The best way to start a long-term partnership with a brand is to go above and beyond what they expect. Give them an excellent experience working with you and you’ll be the first on their list for any future projects.

You can overdeliver by sending brands:

  • Additional Content Pieces

  • Detailed Reporting

  • Future Content Ideas

#3: Build Relationships With Your Brand Contacts
It’s important to know that word travels fast in the content industry. If someone has a bad experience working with you, that may impact other brands deciding not to work with you. However, in the same way, if a brand contact has an excellent experience with you, your reputation can spread quick!

Build connections with your brand contacts by:

  • Remembering their names

  • Following up to see what they’re working on

  • Treating them like a human

  • Running campaign ideas past them

What people are saying

"There are a plethora of creator discovery platforms circulating right now. Most provide detailed stats on engagement and audience demographics, some display past sponsored posts or most used hashtags. Yet few, if any, allow the creator to speak for themselves about the outlet and community that they have curated. What content do they get the most excited about producing? What partnerships do they value the most? What are they most proud of, regardless of audience interaction? We need to put the script back into the hands of the creator, and I feel that Creatorland is here to do just that. "
