Hollywood’s AI Power Shift, The Hottest Jobs in the Creator Economy, and The Rise of AI Clones

In this edition: Hollywood embraces AI as a core production tool, the fastest-growing roles reshaping the creator economy, and AI clones move from experiment to mainstream.

Better Matches. Faster Hiring.

We just launched something brands have been asking for: a free candidate management dashboard to run your entire creator hiring pipeline - and along with it a completely new job board!

Jobs are now easier to navigate, more shareable, and dare I say better looking.

Post a job, track applicants, and move candidates through stages (New → Shortlisted → Negotiating → Hired) all in one place.

View social profiles with follower counts, leave notes for your team, and finally eliminate the “did we already reach out?” chaos.

No more spreadsheets. No more guesswork. Just a clean system for hiring creators at scale.

It’s free, it’s in beta, and it’s now included with every job post.

Hollywood’s AI Power Shift

Avid, the company behind industry staples like Pro Tools and Media Composer, is partnering with Google Cloud to integrate generative and agentic AI directly into the editing process.

Instead of scrubbing through hours of footage, editors can now describe a scene in plain language and have AI surface the exact clip based on dialogue, motion, or even emotional tone.

What used to be a manual, time-intensive process is becoming a search problem, where footage behaves more like structured data than raw video files.

And it is not happening in isolation.

From Netflix acquiring AI film tech companies to major studios investing heavily across the stack, AI is quickly becoming the default layer across Hollywood production.

For creators and operators, this is less about replacing editors and more about compressing timelines.

More content, faster turnaround, and lower production costs, all within the same budget constraints.

The Hottest Jobs in the Creator Economy

According to new data from LinkedIn, roles like AI Specialist, Generative AI Engineer, and Digital Content Creator are among the fastest-growing jobs for the next generation entering the workforce.

The people building AI and the people using it to create content are growing at the same pace, effectively turning creators into operators of their own AI-powered businesses.

Hiring is expanding beyond traditional cities, startups are driving a large portion of new opportunities, and entry-level hiring at small firms has surged over 100% in recent years.

At the same time, the path to these roles is getting less linear.

“Content creator” is no longer a side hustle category. It is now sitting alongside engineers and technical specialists as a core growth role in the economy.

And with AI handling more of the execution, the leverage behind that role is only increasing.

What this means for digital creators

  • Distribution is no longer the bottleneck. With AI handling research, outreach, and conversion, the constraint shifts to having the right system, not a bigger audience.

  • Revenue clarity becomes the advantage. Creators who can tie content directly to dollars, not just views or likes, will scale faster and waste less time.

  • Solo operators can compete with teams. The gap between individual creators and full companies continues to shrink as AI replaces entire functions across the stack.

The next wave of creators will not just make content, they will run systems.

The Rise of AI Clones

The creator economy is entering a new phase where creators are no longer just scaling content, they are replicating themselves.

AI-generated “digital twins” are starting to handle brand deals, fan interactions, and content creation without the creator ever being on camera.

More content, faster output, and less burnout, at a time when over half of creators report being exhausted.

Instead of being limited by time, creators can now turn their likeness into an always-on asset.

Fans may engage with the content, but still want to know there is a real person behind it.

At the same time, the business model is shifting underneath.

Brands are starting to think, why pay for ongoing partnerships when you can license a creator once and reuse their likeness infinitely.

That puts pressure on creators to maintain control over their identity, not just their content.
